Bessie asks around and finds a fleapit that’ll let the group show their reel after everyone’s gone home for the night. The last reel of Nosferatu is missing the figure of Max Schreck as the vampire – there’s just a white silhouette. (The film is mechanically intact.) The shine is not projected, and remains on the film after projection.
The three tins processed at home seem to be street scenes, made by someone getting the hang of a camera; where dates can be worked out, they’re from the last few months.
