These are various vehicle designs for GURPS.
- Abthite
- TL5+2 'wig ferry: The Abon and Drakewater Ferry conveys 400 earwigs at a time in luxurious comfort anywhere on the river they may need to go.
- TL7 Armoured Earwig Carrier: This light battle-taxi is designed to get a squad of 100 earwigs where they are needed, fast (at least by earwig standards) and provide some supporting fire.
- TL5+2 ironclad duck: One of Isambard Kingdom Earwig's more successful ventures, the Ironclad Duck is a battlesuit for a Mallard. Mostly the users tend to stand around going "wek" a lot; but some of them have now learned that they're largely catproof.
- Crimson Skies
- TL5+1 Whittly-Douglas M217P: Whittly & Douglas M217p prototype transport Whittly & Douglas, following the limited success of their Raven, have tried to break into the under-supplied civilian light transport market. This is their first attempt; while the performance is all that might be hoped for, with a range of over 1800 nautical miles, the expense of the advanced materials needed to realise that performance is excessive. This prototype, registered as IS78522x, was sold to a breaker in Chicago in an attempt to recoup costs when the project was shut down.
- TL5+1 Whittly-Douglas M217P (armed): Whittly & Douglas M217p prototype transport Whittly & Douglas, following the limited success of their Raven, have tried to break into the under-supplied civilian light transport market. This version has been modified with concealed armament.
- TL5+1 transport airship: A luxury passenger airship, capable of travelling 1,500 miles between refuellings.
- Dark Conspiracy
- TL7 Blimp: As aviation fuel costs rise, the airship has made a comeback. It takes nearly two days to fly from London to New York, and it's not exactly comfortable to stay in a passenger seat for that time... but it's the only option many people have.
- TL7 Zil Tovarishch: A cheap and nasty car. Did I mention it's cheap?
- TL7 hover APC: Based on the XM22 PCAC (GDW/Twilight 2000). An experimental vehicle, never widely used because of its poor manoeuvreability, but adopted by the USMC as an APC that didn't need a separate landing craft to transport it.
- TL7 hover tank: Based on the XM23 AACV (GDW/Twilight 2000). See the hover APC for background. Same chassis, different turret.
- TL8 F-40 dogfighter: Recently purchased by the USAF and Navy, the F-40 is a light aircraft optimised for the dogfighting role that is becoming increasingly necessary in small wars.
- TL8 M5 walker tank: As a response to the increasing prevalance of urban fighting, this light tank was developed with the specific aim of maximising manoeuvreability in confined and rubble-strewn areas. Variants are under development for police use.
- TL8 M6 walker APC: Based on the M5 walker tank (qv), this APC frame was developed in 2011 as part of the U.S. Army's FISH programme. Several variants exist; this is the basic APC model.
- TL8 hydrogen-burning sports car: If you have enough money to burn...
- TL8 stealthed tiltrotor transport: Dornier/Teledyne Peregrine and related craft. This is the stealthed version used for covert insertions/extractions.
- TL8 supersonic business jet: For the few people who can still afford jet fuel, this Mach 2 aircraft is the way to travel. Non-afterburning even for transonic acceleration, decent short-field capability, and even amphibious for really backward places...
- TL8 tiltrotor transport: Dornier/Teledyne Peregrine and related craft. This is the armed version, which serves as a troop carrier and light gunship in low-threat environments. With different interiors, it can be used as an executive transport or air ambulance.
- Dual Worlds
- TL12 Quari explorer: An experimental aircraft for exploring Quar - away from landing strips and support facilities, and in an environment without nuclear power and gravitics.
- TL12 battlesuit: A fairly typical battlesuit as fielded by Terran forces.
- TL12 thrusterpack: Typical of the light sporting thrusterpacks used by those with time to kill. It is assumed that the pilot will wear a protective suit, which will normally have its own sensors to supplement the minimal array provided.
- Stargate
- TL7 FAV trike: Designed at the suggestion of GSgt Mathew Westgate as a means of increasing an SG team's mobility in the field - as well as providing a little heavy firepower.
- TL8 Stargate exploratory vehicle: Designed to fit through a 20-foot gate and provide endurance and survivability on the other side.
- TL8 autogyro: A lightly militarised version of a civilian autogyro, used for reconnaissance in safe areas.
- TL8 ultralight: A lightly militarised ultralight aircraft for reconnaissance in safe areas.
- Steam!
- TL5+1 Ekranoplan: It would be able to cross the Atlantic... if the sea were calm. But at least you won't be bored en route.
- TL5+1 transatlantic aircraft: True transatlantic range, and can fly out of ground effect, unlike its predecessor. On the other hand, this one gives up the ballrooms.
- Tempt Not the Stars
- TL10 Bell-class point-to-point courier: The Bell-class courier concept started life as a pure jump courier, similar to the express boat used in the First Federation. However, feature creep is a timeless problem; the resultant ship, while not as fast in translight as had been hoped, can operate between starports rather than relying on support vessels. The cockpit is famously sybaritic.
- TL10 Grigorevich-class Free Trader: A fairly standard free trader of the sort most commonly seen around the rim and border worlds. Where runway facilities are available, lands and takes off with thrusters only; otherwise the fusion rams provide VTOL capability.
- TL10 Solovmyki heavy freighter: The Solovmyki heavy freighter is in common use in the Federation core systems, where speed of transport is crucial and finding a hundred-ton load of cargo for a world is not difficult. Lighter crews are normally expected to stay aboard their ships while in hyperspace; the freighter's own crew may go for six months at a time without seeing a planet.
- TL10 aircar: This aircar is typical of those found on developed worlds. It carries its pilot, four passengers, and a reasonable amount of personal baggage. Although it is capable of reaching orbit, its crew would need environmental protection.
- TL10 cargo lighter: This cargo lighter is normally carried aboard a dedicated jump ship such as the Solovmyki heavy freighter; it cycles back and forth between jump limit and planet. A crew shift is normally one pilot and one engineer.
- TL10 flight pack: A thruster-based flight pack; very popular with those who can afford them.
- TL10 passenger lighter: This passenger lighter is normally carried aboard a dedicated jump ship such as the Solovmyki heavy freighter; it travels directly between orbital station and jump limit.
- TL10 power lifter: The power lifter is a standard item in most cargo-handling facilities; it's an open-frame exoskeleton with the ability to carry up to a ton in its arms, and a further 3/4 ton on its back. This particular model is equipped with a small thruster pack for zero-G work.
- TL10 surface-to-orbit shuttle: A typical orbital shuttle as used on worlds throughout explored space. This is the 50-ton cargo version; the passenger model replaces the cargo bay with 100 passenger seats and an additional life support module.
