Audrey, Gertrude and Milly separately decide to look at the shop before the meeting. The stock is mostly of no interest to anyone, but there’s a small amount of good stuff to reward the persistent searcher; Audrey finds some alchemical texts, Gertrude a herbal though it doesn’t overlap much with her knowledge, and Milly an illustrated book on the history of the theatre.
